Essential Jazz is made up of 14 singers and 4 combo members. The group consists of many local music educators and other stand-out performers. The members of this group continue to share their music with others, with the belief that there is great power and inspiration through music. The first of its kind in the Boise area, Essential Jazz was started in January of 2013. Since then they have performed all over the Boise Valley for various groups, and in Sun Valley for the American Choral Directors’ State Conference.
