Homeschool Day: Design a Dome

The Idaho State Museum preserves artifacts big and small. One of the largest artifacts on display at the Museum is a stained-glass dome from the Owyhee Hotel. Drop in on April 12th from 10am-3pm to craft your own tissue paper dome suncatcher under the Owyhee Hotel dome and learn more about the artifacts and artifact conservation at the Museum! Discover more artifact stories in Exhibiting Curiosity, a temporary exhibit in the Treasures Gallery.

Admission for Homeschool Day is $3 per student (youth 2 and up) and adults/teachers are free in a 1:1 ratio, any additional adults must pay regular admission. Participation in drop-in activity is free, and participation is not required for the full length of the event. Preregistration is required. Payment is due at the time of reservation and is non-refundable.
