Family Second Saturday: WWII on the Home Front
While troops fought in World War 2, civilians on the home front changed their lifestyles to direct resources overseas. Join us for our October Family Second Saturday to examine life on the home front during WW2, including decorating a mini victory garden and using ration points to create a week of meals.
This Family Second Saturday also celebrates the opening of our latest traveling exhibition So Ready for Laughter: The Legacy of Bob Hope, from the National WW2 Museum. A generous thank you to the sponsors for So Ready for Laughter, George Juetten and Parsons Behle & Latimer.
Family Second Saturday activities are included with museum admission.
