Firewise Landscaping Workshop

People living in Idaho have a higher wildfire risk, as well as a responsibility for the safety of their families, property, pets, and livestock. A fire-resistant landscape is a well-designed landscape that not only protects your home, but also provides wildlife habitat and is lovely to look at and live in. Learn how to make your home and landscape less vulnerable to ignition from a wildfire. Join us for the Firewise Landscaping Workshop at the Idaho State Museum. This free workshop is offered in partnership with Idaho Firewise, a non-profit organization that coordinates, supports, and promotes wildland fire education.

Don’t miss the temporary exhibit Facing the Inferno: The Wildfire Photography of Kari Greer.

Museum Admission is not included with workshop registration.
