ICRIS Subscription Pricing

The Idaho Cultural Resource Information System (ICRIS) offers subscription options designed to support cultural resource professionals with enhanced access, tools, and functionality. While a subscription is encouraged but not required, subscribing provides access to advanced features such as shapefile downloads, project tracking, and organizational work queues—streamlining the Section 106 process and improving collaboration with SHPO. All users, regardless of subscription level, can submit projects and access unrestricted data through ICRIS.

Guest Access: For casual visitors interested in information about historic buildings, objects, structures, and districts (no access to archaeological information). No account or login is required.

Basic Access: Ideal for students, non-profits, small municipal governments, or users who do not need enhanced data, mapping and tracking functionality. A free account is required.

Pro Access: Ideal for preservation or planning professionals, state or federal agencies, or large municipal governments. A paid subscription account provides enhanced functionality.

ICRIS includes built-in tools that streamline the Section 106 review process and improve efficiency for both SHPO staff and external users. A Pro subscription unlocks the full suite of project management tools, data access, and GIS functionality, including:

Project Workflow Management
Basic account users track submissions through system-generated email links. Pro account users have access to both Organization and Individual Work Queues to manage projects, assign internal reviewers, monitor status, and track review progress in real time.

Real-time access to SHPO data
Eliminate traditional record search requests. All subscribers can identify a project area and immediately view known resources and previous surveys within the Area of Potential Effects (APE) to support project planning, scoping, and bid preparation. Pro users gain additional GIS functionality and export capability.

Enhanced Printing and Data Export Tools
Guests and Basic users may print what is visible on-screen.
Pro users may export search results tables and download shapefiles, allowing for seamless integration into internal GIS workflows and reporting processes.

Electronic Project Submission
All logged-in users can create project records, upload supporting documentation, and electronically submit project packages directly to SHPO—no mailing or email transfers required.

ICRIS Field App (Pro Only)
Pro users gain access to the ICRIS Survey123 Field App, allowing collection of architectural and archaeological survey information directly in the field using mobile devices. Data can be uploaded into ICRIS for review and editing, reducing duplicate entry and improving data quality.

Map Layers
All users can view core historic resource layers, municipal boundaries, and basic reference maps.

Use ICRIS to submit Section 106 and Section 110 reviews, enter survey and resource records, upload monitoring and annual reports, and initiate Programmatic Agreement (PA) consultation. Anyone may create an account and access unrestricted information.

ICRIS Field App

Survey123 Access

Available to Pro account users, the field app allows users to capture data on buildings, archaeological sites, and districts, in the field using mobile devices. Once back in the office, users can upload data directly into the ICRIS where they can review, manage, and edit the captured survey information.
