Nuestros Corridos Concert 2022

An evening of storytelling, poetry, music, and dance!

Tejano Hall-of-fame inductee Juan Manuel Barco from Seattle and Idaho composers Bonifacio “Bodie ” Dominguez, Angel Bustos, and Ana Maria Schachtell will bring history to life through ballads/corridos that celebrate Idaho Latino History. Dances by Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo under the direction of Monique N. Michel.

Corridos are ballads based on true stories and events. Telling these stories through song and word is an effective way to celebrate Latinos’ contributions to Idaho’s economic and cultural development.
