Family Second Saturday: Native American Heritage Month

The foundation of Idaho’s culture is its Indigenous tribes, who have been on this land since time immemorial and continue to care for the state’s natural resources. November is Native American Heritage month. Join the Idaho State Museum and Darren Parry, Former Chairman of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, to learn more about Indigenous culture in Idaho at the November Family Second Saturday event.
Darren will lead story times with stories he wrote at 1pm and 2pm, and activities will run from 12-3pm.
All ages are welcome, and the event is free with Museum admission!
This is an ongoing event every second Saturday of the month. Purchase admission in advance or pay at the door.
