¡Fiesta! Celebrating Idaho’s Hispanic Heritage Community Day Event
Each year communities gather to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed September 15 to October 15. Join us at the Idaho State Museum on September 23, from 12pm-5pm, to celebrate Idaho’s Hispanic heritage and diverse cultures with a community event featuring music, art, food, and performances.
¡Fiesta! will feature several hands-on activities, a vendor and resource fair, and a special pop-up exhibit in the Canyon Gallery showcasing the corrido, a traditional Mexican song style that has evolved in both Mexico and the United States as an essential form of storytelling.
We are proud to partner with the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs, and Ana Maria Schachtell to help produce this event. Thank you to our Sponsor St. Luke’s Community Health Improvement Fund.
Event admission will be free to the public.
