Each year communities gather to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed September 15 to October 15. Join us at the Idaho State Museum to celebrate Idaho’s Hispanic heritage and diverse cultures with a community event featuring music, art, food, and performances.
¡Fiesta! will feature several hands-on activities, a vendor and resource fair, and a special pop-up exhibit in the Canyon Gallery showcasing Quinceañera traditions.
Performers will include:
12:30-1:00 Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo
2:00-2:30pm Danza Azteca Tonatiuh
3:45-4:45pm Lobo Lara
Food trucks will be on-site including:
Tacos Y Tortas El Paco
Machu Picchu Peruvian Food Truck
We are proud to partner with the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Idaho Commission for Hispanic Affairs, Idaho Commission for Libraries, Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, and the Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho to help produce this event.
