Family Second Saturday: Fearless Founders

Who helped build the United States and the State of Idaho? Discover the answers during Family Second Saturday: Fearless Founders! Families of all ages are invited to explore the museum through interactive, self-guided activities highlighting the women and men who shaped Idaho’s early communities. Participate in the Patriot Portrait Studio where you can draw your own colonial portrait or “commission” one from a family member or friend. Explore our new exhibit, Four Score & Seven Years Before with a fearless Founders Gallery Activity Sheet.

Drop in anytime between 12-3pm. All ages are welcome, and the event is free with museum admission!

This is an ongoing event every second Saturday of the month. Enjoy your visit? Consider becoming a member at the Idaho State Historical Society and enjoy access to the Idaho State Museum and other amenities. Learn more at https://history.idaho.gov/membership/.
