History Happy Hour: Honoring Black History Month

African Americans have made many contributions to the economic, cultural, and political development to Idaho. During Black History Month, we celebrate and honor these contributions – past, present, and future. Panelists this month will highlight some of the incredible contributions one organization is making in their community.

This month’s panelists join us from the Idaho Falls African American Alliance, including the current president, David Snell.

About Idaho Falls African American Alliance:
• In 2006, a small group from the INL (Idaho National Laboratory) came together to help an Idaho Falls teen and the idea of an official organization focused on providing assistance and advancing diversity was born.

You can participate in the conversation through the pre-event audience Q&A by emailing questions to events@ishs.idaho.gov or submitting them live during the event in the chat bar.
