AASLH National Conference

The American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) is hosting their Annual Conference in Boise on September 6-9. This year’s theme is “I, Too, Am America,” inspired by Langston Hughes’s 1926 poem “I, Too.” In the countdown to the country’s 250th anniversary, we are forced to wrestle with our collective identity. The 2023 conference is a call for an engaging examination of identity through creativity, innovation, and compelling discussion. Learn more about the conference, explore the preliminary program, and AASLH scholarship opportunities at aaslh.org.

The Idaho Association of Museums is also offering ten $500 stipends to their members to assist those wishing to attend. Learn more about IAM scholarship opportunities at idahomuseums.org.
