Esto Perpetua Awards

The Esto Perpetua Award takes its name from the state’s motto, “let it be perpetual” and for the past 25 years, ISHS has recognized people and organizations who have preserved and promoted Idaho’s history through professional accomplishments, public service or volunteerism, and philanthropy.

2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the Idaho State Historical Society’s (ISHS) Esto Perpetua Award program. On June 6, 2024, ISHS will be recognizing partnering historical and cultural organizations for their work in preserving, promoting, and educating Idahoans on the state’s history. This year’s event embodies the culmination of 25 years of the Esto Perpetua Awards program.

Since the award was created in 1999, ISHS has recognized the inspiring local preservation efforts of more than 200 individuals and organizations throughout the Gem State. The work of an Esto Perpetua awardee reflects dedication, commitment, and passion for Idaho and its history.

Thank you all for attending the 2024 Esto Perpetua Awards Ceremony.
