Applications Open: Applied Oral History Workshop & TheirStory Technical Certification

Are you passionate about preserving Idaho history and interested in learning a tangible skill? Consider applying for the Idaho State Historical Society’s Applied Oral History Workshop & TheirStory™ Technical Certification. This virtual workshop is your opportunity to develop professional oral history skills and technical proficiency in TheirStory oral history software while supporting the America250 in Idaho Oral History Initiative. Professional Oral Historian, Troy Reeves, State Historian HannaLore Hein, and TheirStory™ CEO Zack Ellis will co-lead this 8-hour workshop over the course of two weeks. 

Workshop Highlights: 

• The workshop will take place over the course of two days (November 22 & December 6, 10:00 am–12:00 pm MT) with independent work to be completed between these dates.  

• Applications for this workshop are open from October 1 to November 7 and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply here.
