Family Second Saturday: Randy’L Teton

The Idaho State Museum is excited to celebrate Native American Heritage Month on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 12-3PM with Randy’L Teton, model for the Sacajawea coin released by the United States Mint in 2000 and author of It’s Her Story: Sacajawea. An enrolled member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Fort Hall, Randy’L is the “Youngest & Only Living Model on U.S Currency.” Readings of It’s Her Story: Sacajawea at 12:30PM, 1:30PM, and 2:30PM. Discover the story of Sacajawea from a tribal perspective and with hands-on connection to the past by making a friendship necklace. Craft supplies have been generously provided by the Idaho Center for the Book.  

All ages welcome!  Family Second Saturday activities are included with Museum admission. Free for ISHS members!
