Description

The Boise Greenbelt stretches from one side of town to the other, and is a source of pride and recreation for residents throughout the Treasure Valley. But did you knows that it also stretches through time? It’s true! The Boise River has long been a central aspect of the City’s growth and development. And there are still pieces of that history to see and learn about. On Sunday, May 21st from 11:00am to 2:00pm come out and enjoy the scenic splendors, and learn more about Boise’s history along the Greenbelt from local historians. There will be a series of history stops running from the Ann Morrison Park all the way out to Barber Park, with a special final stop at Discovery Park for those who are interested in traveling a little farther! You can stop at one or all of the stations.
